Business Unit Performance and Outlook

[Component Solution]

The Component Solution business posted Q4 revenue of KRW 1.3203 trillion, up 22% YoY. Although revenue decreased 4% QoQ due to year-end inventory adjustments, the business saw growth driven by expanded supply of MLCCs for AI/servers and power applications.

This year, demand in industrial and automotive markets is expected to continue growing due to ongoing AI infrastructure investment and ADAS expansion. The company plans to increase supply of high value-added products for AI/industrial sectors, such as servers and networks, and strengthen its automotive MLCC lineup with high-capacity and high-voltage products.

[Package Solution]

The Package Solution business recorded Q4 revenue of KRW 644.6 billion, up 17% YoY and 9% QoQ. Growth was primarily driven by increased supply of high value-added package substrates, including FCBGAs for global big tech servers, AI accelerators, and autonomous driving systems, as well as BGAs for mobile APs.

In 2026, with the data center market expected to grow rapidly, robust demand for high value-added FCBGAs for AI, servers, and networks is anticipated. Samsung Electro-Mechanics plans to expand revenue by supplying substrates to new big tech customers and will establish supply strategies to prepare for full production line utilization in the second half of the year.

[Optical Solution]

The Optical Solution business posted Q4 revenue of KRW 937.2 billion, up 9% YoY and 2% QoQ. Performance improved following the launch of differentiated high-performance camera modules for IT applications and expanded supply of automotive camera modules for global electric vehicles.

This year, with the advancement of ADAS and the expansion of new applications like humanoids, demand for high-performance smartphone cameras is expected to rise.

Accordingly, the company will focus on supplying specialized automotive products, such as heaters and water-repellent coatings, and developing slim, optical-zoom camera modules for smartphones. The company also aims to secure next-generation technologies like high-reliability actuators to proactively respond to the Physical AI market.
