▷ Samsung Electro-Mechanics has developed and commenced mass production of the CL05Y225KP66PN#, which achieves a capacitance of 2.2μF at a rated voltage of 10V in the 0402 inch (1.0 × 0.5 mm) size with X7S temperature characteristics (-55 to 125°C). Samples are now available.

▷ As the trends toward high integration, high density, and miniaturization of ADAS LiDAR, IVI communication modules (including WiFi, Bluetooth, 5G, and NAD), as well as SiP modules, continue to proliferate, the demand for miniaturization of multilayer ceramic capacitors is also on the rise.  

▷ The newly introduced product maintains the same capacitance and rated voltage as the existing 0603 inch (1.6 x 0.8 mm) product while reducing the size to 0402 inch (1.0 x 0.5 mm). This advancement effectively addresses the simultaneous requirements for miniaturization, high capacitance design, and voltage stability within the application.  

▷ Samsung Electro-Mechanics has successfully broadened its product offerings to encompass capacitors in the 0402 inch (1.0 × 0.5 mm) size category, featuring a rated voltage of 10V, X7S, and a capacitance of 2.2 µF. This advancement has been made possible by applying proprietary techniques in the micronization of ceramic and electrode materials, coupled with ultra-precision multilayer stacking methods.
